Third Thursday Brown Bag Lunch Program

      January 18th 2018

“Benedict On the Patuxent: From Its Beginnings To Its Tercentenary”

    Speaker: G. Howard Post

That little town just across the 231 bridge has a long and rich history that stretches from Native American occupation, through the colonial period, the War of 1812, the Civil War, the steamship era, to recreational tourism. During that time, Benedict has waxed and waned from a bustling river port to a sleepy little village. Join us as author and historian G. Howard Post discusses – and signs! – his book about his own hometown.

Join Us at Noon at Linden.  Bring your Lunch, Bring your Questions, and Bring Your Friends! Free and Open to All.
