    If you’ve ever wondered what goes on behind those gates of  the naval facility at Randall Cliffs, now’s your chance to find out. The Calvert County Historical Society’s Brown Bag Lunch Program on Thursday, May 18th will feature Joan Kilmon, representing the Calvert Library, and  the Chesapeake Beach Railway Museum. Her presentation, “Naval Research Laboratory: Chesapeake Bay Detachment,” will cover the facility’s history, and the social and cultural impact it’s had on the Chesapeake Beach area over the past 75 years.
